wrong unleaded petrol in new Toyota Yaris 1.3 TR

Went to fill up with petrol this morning and put in Super Unleaded instead of Unleaded, when I realised I stopped straight away, paid and drove off. Now am really worried, I can't find anything in my car manuals or on toyota websites. Any help greatly appreciated.

Putting Super in instead of regular unleaded will not do your car any harm whatsoever. You might even get slightly more mpg or power as this is what manufacturers of Super claim, on the other hand you'll probably have paid 5p per litre more.

Your cars electronic "brain" (ECU) will adjust itself for the higher octane fuel so don't worry, you won't do any damage except to your wallet - it's often 5-8p per litre more!! As Fitzer said, you might see a tiny increase in mpg but don't count on it. The only benefit of higher octane unleaded is found when used in high compression, turbocharged or supercharged high performance engines.
