Asking out

ok heres another one. a lot of the guys in 7th grade are really immature. they go around asking the sithth graders out. they even go around and see how many rejections they can get,or how many people they can get to say yes. i'm in 7th grade, so how do i know when someone really means it when they ask me out?

So how old are you? We don't do grades here i'm afraid. I suppose you can tell if he likes you because he won't ask you out in front of his friends. If they aren't around hes got nothing to prove to them. It's also quite easy to tell when someone is genuine. You need to recognise the body language, be cautious if someone is touching their face a lot and avoiding eye contact. Also, someone who is truly interested in you will be friendly with you at school and not just spring the question on you. I think you need to trust your instinct on this one, it's usually pretty accurate. Good luck.

Laura-sakura is right... you'll be able to tell... he might act shy around you or if hes confident enough he'll ask you on his own and you will be able to tell if he's serious or not.

I'd say no when they ask because if they wanted you before that will make them want you more and they'll try harder. If they weren't being serious before you've lost nothing!

 i know what you mean.i am in seventh grade too. and i just asked this guy out but now he is playing games with me........( he said no if u were wouderin).......most of the time u can tell if he is into u. if you like someone don't just sit there you should make the first move.

foxyroxy? What kind of answer is that? It's not a matter of her making the first move, she wants to know if a boy really likes her. Unfortunately (Speaking as a boy) most boys out there are excellent liars so the only way to tell is to take a chance and even if the first tme doesn't work out maybe the second or the third will......good luck...
