Hi all, I have two hall windows (one upstairs and one downstairs) which are odd sizes and I wanted roman blinds for them but would have to have them made which can be so expensive. Therefore I have decided to have a go at making my own. I have a good idea how to do them however on the wrong side of the material when you make the pockets in which to put the rods, do I have to add the measurements for these to my overall length, i.e. my window is a drop of 77cm so if I was to have 5 sections on the blind, should I add 5 x 5cm to my 77cm or do I just have the 77cm. Oh I do hope you can understand what I mean cos I have started to confuse myself now!! Thanks all.
