just found out that marmite is made out of the dregs at the bottom of beer barrels, so i've learnt something new today.

it's made from dead yeast which is what you would find in the bottom of beer barrels, but it's not actually made from the dregs, the yeast is farmed especially for it.

You can buy it with Guinness added, and I think they did a champeagne one as well

chuck - marmite IS made from spent brewers' yeast.

lurv marmite,as does jnr bigs,use a medium bottle a week,if get large,still gone in a week
