javelin at weapon

ive been reading about the javelin from the lockheed martin website - according to them, it can defeat any known armour and pretty much has no disadvantages to it. of course thats what lockheed martin want us to think because their selling it and want to make a profit! But im just wondering - what are the disadvantages of the javelin? is there a counter measure against a javelin attack?

At the moment some countries such as China, Russia, USA, UK and Israel are looking to develop a paint which is Infra Red resistant so as to confuse 'fire and f*ck off' missiles like Javeline' which will be more cost effective than bolting on huge segments of Chobham Armour. However I think we are still a very long way away from this type of technology

im not a weapons expert, but i believe in the right circumstances, this baby could defeat the Javelin.
