Stupid Staff Meeting

We spent 20 min. of a 40 min meeting arguing with the principal whether or not we should be allowed to eat in the staff work room. Last year she agreed we could have a light lunch in there and now since she is annoyed at the staff (a never ending situation) she won't let us eat there. Admittedly, some people are slobs, but the only other place is a dingy, teachers' cafeteria in the basement where you MAY NOT bring a bagged lunch in, so you are forced to eat the carb laden, 'nutritious' lunch the cafeteria staff provides.


I have no books, limited supplies and some children run wild in the school and the principal wants to take away our staff/eating room!!!!!!

Well, that is food for thought, isn't it? You could always eat a book. You know what they say; read, learn and inwardly digest!

If she moans, ask her if you can sit in her office with your pickled onions.

I have some books, just not enough to go around for all my classes.

Jonny, if i could spare the book that would not be a bad idea!!!


What she fails to see is that if we all took our supposedly 'duty free' lunch 2 floors away, she would not be able to see us at her will. I proposed that we all do just that and let her send her minions down into the dungeon to find us and we tell them to go to he!!

We hear retirement is looming for her. One can only hope.
She is in a bit of hot water with her higher ups at the moment. Ha Ha.
