Cracked wasbasin rescue

Installed a useless gadget which crashed down into bathroom washbasin. Fine but lengthy crack across it now. Can it be repairedand if so, how? Or should we cut our losses and replace? (boo-hoo). There are lots of you clever builder types out there so I'd appreciate your advice.

If it's the usual vitreous china Lucca, then I've never come across anything to repair it..... :o(((

Go on - treat yourself........................it's getting a bit old anyway LOL
