Hmmm, i was reading in The Sun today that Sony have recalled all their Little Big Planet video games, at a cost of millions of pounds, because some hardcore muslims has said it offends them.
Apparently, there is something about the koran in a song on it.
But, reading on,it also says, it was done by a muslim, so whats the problem?
Cant believe someone as big as Sony, has backed down...

for fear of terrorist attacks on their premises?

Yeah , but if a muslim has put it on in the first place and ok'd it, they why would others get offended?
Also, the games only aimed at kids.
The official statement says that release has been postponed at the last minute (so they're not taking the games back - they've just adjusted the release date) because some of the background music contains quotations from the Koran and that means... something... or... other...

I don't really understand what the problem is but it's something to do with the background music quoting the Koran. That's about all I can gather.

Gamespot talk in more detail about this here

I played LBP while at the GC in Leipzig this year. Twas fun. I won't be getting it though.

Ahhh right, cheers K.
So why wont you be getting it?
Is it because you fear a terrorist attack on yourself? :)
Not quite. It's because I enjoyed it, but not enough to make me want it.

Generally I like either violence or conquest in video games. None of that in LBP.
Just a shot in the dark but maybe not all muslims are the same.
