Hi bigmamma, here are a couple of the piccies I promised you. They are Newfoundlands and are about 7 years old now. Wow , what magnificent dogs haysi . Beautiful !
Thank you so much for posting them for me to see . I didn't know that breed likes water , my lab does too . I bet they take some feeding and grooming , and they are looking so fine and healthy . They have plenty of room there by the look of it . :-) xxxxxx

Newfoundlands love the water, they are bred as rescue dogs and have webbing on their feet! They are the most gorgeous dogs with a lovely temperament, very loving and playful and with the loudest bark!

Well , that's something I've learned today , webbed feet , how cool is that .

sorry i know this was meant for bm but i had to be nosey as i love dogs too. we have 2 japanese akitas in our family who are 10 now and dread the day we lose them

awwww bigmamma skippy is gorgeous, so cute ((hugs)). I must admit that the newfoundlands do take a lot of work, I shall not tell you about having to clean up after them LOL! They are great dogs though and hopefully my bro will be able to bring them over from Spain early next year with their other two dogs.
