where is the blue sky?? and where does it go at night??

The sky is blue because sunlight entering the upper atmosphere collides with oxygen and nitrogen molecules.
The colours in the spectrum which have the shortest wavelenghts are scattered most by these collisions,that is blue and violet.

And there is no sunlight at night to scatter!!
