Blocked land drain
3 Answers
<DIV>I have a natural pond in my rear garden which fills in the winter and dries out in summer as the water table flows. Before the house was built, 30 years ago, a drain was put in to take the excess water away to a ditch which is 60 yards away. Over the years I have had blockage problems but have managed to fix them. However the pipe is not working now and I have tried rodding itbut cannot passed an obstruction which may or may not be the cause of blockage.Unfortunately some of the pipe goes under the house and will be difficult to excvate. I have seen BT use a machine for putting cables underground...Is there a way of burrowing underground using a machine that will be able to install a new pipe for the length required?</DIV>
