Yes to above ;-) Found the sun bear by researching Rainforest mammals online ;-) Completed the Sat Telegraph just a few moments ago :-) all by my own data bank or by research online- pleased not to have to ask anyone- may have taken longer yet more rewarding ;-)

i looked at the letters, guessed 'sun bear', fed that into wikepedia and up came an entry with a picture that exactly matched kate's clue.

it sometimes pays to guess!

I agree with Beatrice 35, I mIstakenly got up at 5am thinking it was 6am and thought I might as well spend an hour doing the �500 D/T crossword, it wasnt too hard, but some of the postings for the answers are pathetic, surely they can get the answers by themselves to the more simple clues ?
