 How effective is the cycle tyre sealant you can buy in solving the problem of the dreaded punctures? Does it work on all bike's tyres or just certain ones.Also is it a permanant or temporary solution?

Very definitely a temporary 'get you home' solution. I've used it on bicycle tyres and it's OK - but very messy when attempting to remove the outer tyre from the inner tube to replace. Was somewhat glued together !

Can't comment on motorbike tyres though.

I am reliably informed by a keen cyclist that you can obtain puncture-proof tyres for bicycles.
