which is the best paint roller to use on walls

i plan to paint my house and i would like to know which is the type of roller to use sponge or the hairy type?

Do you mean the interior walls?  If so, the �hairy� rollers(I�m sure there�s a technical term for them) give better coverage if using emulsion etc.  The sponge rollers seem to put a thinner coat of paint on so you end up having to do two or three coats. I think sponge rollers are meant to be used with gloss and varnish.
