where is this leak comming from?
Hello I have a 1985 Ford Mustang. It has a basic 4 cly. engine. It is not fuel injected, it has a carb. My situation: There seems to be a trans. fluid leak and it appears to be at the front left (driver's side) of engine. While trying to find this leak, I noticed there is also a water leak, and this seems to be behind the belts. (I don't know whats back there). My Questions are: What could be wrong thats causing these leaks, where exactly are they comming from? And are they related in any way? Thanks!!

Hi CCZ nMe, take no notice of the previous clown (IT) comes on with stupid non intelligence answers (IT) cannot help being a DKhead, going to your problem the first thing you need to do is to Steam Clean the front end of the engine to determin where the oil loss is, as oil is blow about by the fan area of the radiator, Your engine is an INLINE engine! the oil I think is coming from the Timing Case area, Regards your coolant that could be a course of Rain, Over filling the Coolant, or sorry to say this your water pump.
