OK, - so any other suggestions ?

We've got a noisy neighbour, who's still playing loud "rock" music at - what nearly half past two in the morning. It's that loud, we can't hear the telly !!

Have phoned the 'Old Bill' twice now, and there's (apparently) nothing they can do !

Alright, so we only want to be able to sleep (soon) - not an unreasonable requirement at this time - I'd have thought, but there's an old lady of nearly 80 at one side of her & a young girl with a baby on the other side !!

Any suggestions ?

This is the total opposite to my daughters situation (see one of my threads last monday) she was playing music quite loudly at 7.30 last sunday night and the cops came round to ask her to turn it down!!!! Only cos the next door neighbour is also a police officer and had obviously asked her mates to do her a favour!!!! My daughter has emailed the chief constable but as yet has only had a general acknowledgement of the email

I think you need the Environmental Health Department - I'm sure they used to be able to confiscate stereos/speakers etc.

why did you feel the need to mention 'rock' music...if it was urban wouldnt that bother you?

the police can do something and if not tell the local council

what day does this happen on? weekday? weekend?

I don't have a problem with any type of music in particular - jes not at that time of the morning, that loud that I can hear it way above the volume of my TV !

The Police were not interested, even after a second call @ 03.00 & said it was not a police matter.

If you go back & read the initial posting, you will see it was referring to last nite !!
