Do you live far from your neighbours??

When I have been on the train up and down the country, looking out the windows, you always see a lonely house stuck in the middle of a field in the back of nowhere. No shops around, the nearest town miles away, I often feel sorry for folks in those houses! Do you live like that???

No, live in a flat with lots of others around it.

Grew up in the country and used to being around houses in lots of land.

I'd love to have lots of land but I'd feel too vunerable not having other people close.

Only got one neighbour, the rest of the area where we live is fields and forestry, it is heaven on earth, I am here till I die. we are 10 mins walk into village, and buse run past bottom of lane, I am from London but I know where I would rather live.

When I first moved here 30y ago we were isolated but now the fields are maddeningly developed, planes hovering above waiting to land. Motorways encircling and bringing in the world.

I can still shut myself off from the hullaballoo when am on our site. We never had cyber friends then only sheep & cattle!
