Hi, Wonder if anyone can help. My son pays into the CSA. He has just gone onto a 3 day week. He gets paid monthly. He has been in touch with the CSA twice now explaining the situation and in both instances they have said that they require two consequitive pay slips.

He told them that he was paid once a month so it would be approximately three months before the matter would be resolved. During this period he takes a 40% wage cut.

This will put him into the red and he will incur default charges from the bank and credit card companies.

The CSA will not accept a letter from his Company.

Surely this is not right is it? If it is what can he do to ensure that he has enough to live on.

How are his child/children sposed to be fed and kept if he doesn't pay his CSA? Their mother will have to find extra funds!

Keep him paying (even if it causes him debts) and you can finance him!

Tell your son to go to the CAB - they will be able to sit down with your son and give him advice.

Thanks Wolf, I reckon that is what he will have to do. Problem is he lives with us and struggles to pay house keeping as the CSA do not take into account any money he may give to parents for lodgings.
He will have to stop paying for now, and as we are both pensioners that is going to be abit of a struggle.
The CSA do not even take into account what interest or default charges he may incur during the three moths he has to wait, It is not as if he earns �16000 per day as Ross earns, he only works in a small factory and doe.nt get that much any way.
