heating problem corsa

I have a 53 plate corsa, if i have the dial to the hot position i can feel it warm through the vent but as soon as i put the blower on it blows cold, appreciate any ideas what could be the problem

When did you last have a new pollen filter?

Thats the first thing to check.

thanks for your reply tourman got the car end of last year,dont know when or if it has been replaced, i was told to watch for car over heating, but been fine so far, due mot next week will have to get it looked at then,

as toureman says it could be a sodden or blocked pollen filter as funnily enough i had the same problem with my corsa in the last couple of days!!
