I apologise to those of you who thought I put a 'spoiler' on the site about this film a while ago - it was not intended!

I have recently found out that there are 2 different endings to this film!!! Can someone please explain them both to me if you know what they are.

How very strange!!  No wonder I didn't have a clue what you were on about when you mentioned a hospital!!  I just looked it up...

First ending (the one I saw) shows the little girl living with her dads female doctor friend playing happy families and drawing creepy pictures of herself with two heads.

Second ending apparently had the little girl locked up and under observation in some kind of mental home.

I wonder why this was done & which ending was shown where?

I saw it at an Odeon cinema...

I know fairy isn't it strange! I saw the film the day it came out at the cinema. I would like to see the ending you saw. I really didn't understand why the girl was in some sort of mental hospital in the one that I saw??

fairy! Before you saw her playing happy families, had the doctor lady killed the girls dad in that cave? I'm just wondering how much of the end was different.

I thought the little girl was under observation due to the trauma she'd just been through.  Must say was confused.

Yes, from what I've read, i think everything was the same apart from the very last scene.
