Ethel - nope, not in my loft as I dont put out bird food etc. I do feed livestock and the birds pick at that, and their food is not against my house.

Red squirrels thrive in the Norse countries on pine trees, whereas our greys thrive on broad-leaf trees.
Ethel a while ago the squirrels got into my loft and caused a terrible amount of damage not only to the roof and surrounds but to the stuff I had stored there.
I would not want to eat squirrel.

Yep no issues there,i have eaten rabbits and squirrels are vermin, just culling the numbers that heve increased and have to look at other sources of protein, it isnt all brer rabbit and sweet little chubby squirrels, if you were hungry you would and enjoy it!!!
Leggy has shown why grey squirrels are being culled, for restaurants!

If you have them in your roof stop feeding wildlife near your houses. Go to a park to feed - somewhere more suitable. You only have yourselves to blame for encouraging wildlife near your home and that is not a good reason to cull them.
