has just happened to me. I was sat at the table logging onto laptop when a small piece of plastic landed next to me on the table. I am all alone in the house, and have looked all over from whre it could be from, yet nothing. It definately hasn't dropped off the ceiling and there is nothing else around me.... ooooo eeerrrr. Should I be scared?????

I was preparing a meal and went to the utensil drawer in the kitchen. As is usual I had to have a rummage for whatever it was and had to take out a couple of things, putting them on the work surface...........
The largest utensil I had to remove was my rolling pin (bought on impulse at a craft fair and immediately identifiable, if never used) and I continued to rummage...............only to pull out a second rolling pin which had lumps of relatively fresh pastry still stuck to it.......

I offer no explanation as to quite why, when or how these things occured, I can only state that they did.
I certainly believe that there are things for which we have no explanation and that other realms may exist. But I'm not sure I believe in any established religious claim on these realms.........
As to noknow, debbz...............I thought his comment was reasonably amusing (just wait 'til he's been here a few hours, though......he tends to run out of comedic steam) it's just that he knows nothing as to my personal circumstances and I could be a poster to whom thoughts of their Dad in their bedroom brings back unpleasant memories...........

This might sound a bit confusing Jack but here goes. I didn't read what nonknow wrote as a father being in a childs bedroom but the man in mummys room being daddy. Having read you last comment I can understand where you're coming from now but I honestly didn't read it like that when he wrote it, call be naive!!!
Auntwendy... would be lovely to think it was my mum, its been almost 6 years but I miss her so much every day. They say that time heals but I don't feel it does, just means its longer and longer since I last saw her.
Sorry for getting maudling! x

Hmm .... I'd best not mention the case of the missing wig then .....
Okay, I'll tell ya. A friend stayed the night - got up the next morning and his wig had disappeared. Nowhere to be seen.
We put the telly on, and there on the screen, was Terry Wogan, and would ya believe it, wearing my friend's missing wig no less!
Anyhoo, a call to the BBC got my friend nowhere. They denied that Mr Wogan ever wore a wig. So that was the end of that.
