TPS it isnt Foolproof!!!

Watch ureself it does not stop all calls to companies involved with market research!!!

kempie does anyone read that whatever subject, thats the reason we contacted tps not to have other questions lol!!!

TPS does prevent calls from market research companies, unless they are foreign companies calling from abroad, or if you have had previous contact with the company and not told them to stop contacting you.

Well we asked BT to stop all these marketing calls etc dont know if they done it through TPS or whatever.

It nearly worked it has stopped all these sort of calls except from one company and that is BT itself.

They keep phoning us up now to see if we want this or we want that and every time we tell them the same thing.
Do not phone us up again we have asked for a stop to be put on this sort of thing.

Do they listen NO..................

"Market research calls are not covered in the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 therefore companies conducting these types of calls are still allowed to call a TPS registered number. If you do not want to receive such calls, inform the caller to remove your details from their call lists."
