Sausage casserole

any1 got a good recipe for sausage casserole? all i can seem to find are tomato based recipes which i'm not really into, any ideas?

why not throw browned sausages, red onion, peppers, courgette, fennel, mushrooms and anything else you fancy into a casserole dish with seasoning, herbs a splash of wine and some stock water and cook in the oven

Here`s a nice way to double your sausages!

Take each sausage and TWIST it tightly in the middle. If the skin is thin it will break into two. (if not then cut with scissors)

Somehow 20 small sausages are more appealing in a casserole then 10 big ones. Try it, you`ll like it.

Jack`s suggestion sounds OK. I always use tin tomatoes in mine so I can`t help you there.
