I know a 15 yr old that is charged with GBH, he punched and broke the jaw of a shop keeper after the shopkeeper confronted and assaulted one of his friends. This followed a disturbance outside the shop. What is the likely sentence if convicted considering his age and first offence. Thanks

Not enough. If he used so much force he broke the man's jaw he should go down, but probably won't
Don't take any notice of that **** ! It's one of those things It happens .'I'm a lot older and should be a lot wiser.
I broke someones jaw & loosened four teath ,didn't go down but won't be doing it again.
Tell him he must make an early plea of guit ,show remourse at his pre sentence meeting and if he can get some good character references.
Probably get a fine and community or probation or something. All the best Don't anyone try to seek revenge.
Why should he not take any notice of the 1st comment, thats the problem these days, people like this get away with crap sentances when they should be going down.

They should bring back borstals for these kids and teach then a lesson.
