Flight Gift Vouchers

Does anybody know if I can buy a gift voucher for any airlines that fly to Australia. I want to get my boyfriend a voucher for Christmas that he can use towards the cost of a flight.

As an alternative if you cant do it direct try your local travel agents.I have just been down to my local Co-Op travel agents and they sell vouchers, you could use it for airline providing you book with them. I would quess other travel agents do the same.

As Rosetta states, many travel agents sell gift vouchers. STA Travel are a reputable firm, with a good reputation for finding bargains on long-haul flights:

BA used to offer gift vouchers but they seem to have been discontinued.

Qantas have them available on their Australian website:

I can't see them mentioned on their UK site but you could try a phone call to Qantas on 0845 7 747 767. (Mon-Fri, 0830-1800).

my immediate thought would be to give him money or a voucher youve made yourself thats good for the amount of money you want. i say this because when he comes to book it he might see a fab bargain on a website, or with an airline the voucher dosent cover!

Thanks for your answers! I thought about just cash but I'm pretty sure he would end up spending it on other rubbish and he needs to go to Aus so need to make sure it goes to that. Will pop in to some travel agents tomorrow and see what they can offer. Thanks again!
