Years ago you could buy cake tins which stacked 3-high the top one having a lid. They seem to have disappeared from the market and I've tried dozens of web searches, has anyone seen these recently? My friend's mum wants them for xmas

TIA

Hi Ethel

Those are similar but the ones she wants are all the same size and stack as opposed to nest inside one another.

I did find one on an Ebay search but it was second-hand and no use for a christmas pressie.
I know what you mean weeal, I'll keep my eyes open, my nephew's leaving home soon so me & my sister sometimes look around kitchen depts for bits & bobs...the ones on ebay look as tho' they come complete with a mouse!

Hiya Jules and Heathfield, thanks for that and those tins are lovely but the ones she has at the mo are all same size and stack on top of one another, with one lid at the very top - rather than 3 separate tins.

I dont hold much hope of finding them.
what about buying three of these?

Ha - thanks Naomicorlett, it actually shows a stackable set with one single lid, albeit two tier and they look good quality, thanks a lot for that
