Why do people go on about Gwyneth Paltrow calling her baby Apple when Nelly has a child called Horse?  Surely this is far worse!!!!!!???????

Hee hee, yes, but Gwyneth is far more photogenic that Nelly - hence she (and her relations, including newly arrived Apple) are given a lot more press attention :) But if you think Horse is weird, check out this website

P.S. If this fruit-and-veg theme catches on, though, Apple will make way for Aubergine, Beetroot and Cauliflower - which will make little baby Martin sounds perfectly normal. :)

I don't understand what all th fuss is about. I have a 24 year old neice called Apple, (long before Gwynnie's newcomer) and she has just given birth to a baby girl called Peaches, apparently due to her complection.

Weird names make good middle names... But I'd never give my kid an unusual 1st name - Daniel Hercules Butler sounds MUCH better than Hercules Daniel Butler!

Oh, I forgot to add...

My mate's brother's middle name is Brackets... No really... His name is James Brackets Downs... I can't remember the story behind it - Something to do with a mix-up on the birth certificate...
