Does anyone remember a live action Little Mermaid film based on the story (I think it was a foreign movie) on BBC2 in the late 70's/early 80's? If so, do you know where I can get a copy of said movie please? Taaaaa

There's a movie from Czechoslovakia called "Mal� morsk� v�la" (1975) which is "The Little Mermaid" in English.It seems to be a live action film.I don't know if this is the movie you are meaning?.

There's also a movie called Rusalochka (1976) based on "The Little Mermaid".I think the movie is in Russian.

..I remember watching this as a child. I'm sure it was on during the holidays....I cried buckets, it was so sad , I remember my dad teasing me for being so emotional over a film. Kids today always expect a happy ending thanks to Disney, tut!....

I too have been looking for the Rusalochka film for years. I can only find it in the US. Did anyone manage to source it in the UK?

This is the first of the nine 10 minutes?? videos of the Little Mermaid (Mal� morsk� v�la) the others are in the pick list to the right. However, all in Czech. Never found one in English yet.
