Hiya, here's my problem: I'm a 5ft3" 16 year old. I'm size 8 in clothes but 34D in bust. Whenever I buy a swimsuit/bikini that fits my small body, it never fits my boobs properly. Has anyone got any information on where I can buy swimwear to suit my needs?

Thanks. xxx

I am 21 and have very similar problem! the only solutions i have found is london department stores, selfridges has a good selection. but they do come with high prices. my advice to you though is search for a good one that fits properly and pay the price for it. it will last longer than high street ones, will look better coz it fits properly and will put off looking for a new one for another year or two!

Rigby & Peller do made to measure corsetry and swimwear. They also do some off the peg ranges in large cup sizes in lingerie and swimwear. The brand is stocked by Harrods, John Lewis and Selfridges, as well as being available from their own stores.

Good old John Lewis!

You could try looking at    www.figleaves.com

Some of their bikinis are sold as separates.

I'd have a look on www.bravissimo.com they sell bikinis by bra size :o)

Have you thought about buying the top & bottom seperately? Lots of high street stores sell them seperatley & there's some in the Additions catalogue.

have you ben measured correctly?  I only ask because I'm a 34dd and I'm a size 12-14 on top because of my boobs.

Try www.bravissimo.com they specialise in underwear, swimwear and some tops for large breasted women, and not just including women who are...large all over, shall we say.  Make sure any bikini top you get is underwired though otherwise you'll flash everyone when you come out of the pool ^_^

Have you thought about a tankini? I am a tall size 10/12 with a 36DD bust - tankini are great even you don't want to be too busty on the beach and also fit much better than bikiinis. Most high street stores sell swimwear separates - try Next, BHS, Marks, etc. You can then get an 8s bottoms and the right cup sized top!
Asda - although if you're anything like my daughter was at 16 you won't be seen dead in there!  But they do a really good range of swimwear in lots of different cup sizes, and you can buy tops and bottoms separately.  I'm a size 10 bottom but a 36DD top and I always get mine from there.  I get all my undies from there too!
