on a brand new laptop I cannot watch any programmes on iplayer or videos on You Tube as they keep stopping. Can anyone help me to sort this problem please?

I've answered a question on this subject before. It's either the video is a big file or it's uploading through a third party site, so the best thing to do is press the pause button and let the timeline bar under the picture completely fill up before you watch the video. Then it should be OK.
