Been at work since 6.45. Very tired - couldn't sleep after 3 a.m. for dreaming about & mulling over cheese & picallilli sandwiches.

.. but it has to be on soft white bread. And the rounds have to be cut into 4 pieces - but square pieces not triangular - that was for posh people!!

We used to have them on an early saturday evening while my dad was watching the wrestling on ITV. Les Kellett & Mick McManus spring to mind as his particular favourites. Then we'd follow the sarnies up by scoffing marks & spencer's chocolate crunch. Or, on a cold winter night, toasting pikelets in front of the fire. Good times...

morning, I just didn�t want to get out of bed this morning it was soooooo cold but then boiling in my living room which means my storage heaters are blasting out the heat now while I�m at work and it will be bloody freezing when I get in from work. On plus side came 3rd in pub quiz last night which is very surprising given the questions and also there was me sitting in the pub trying to look all intellectual and my hair had been sat in my coffee for the past 10 mins. lol
