Anyone recommend the cheapest installer of loft insulation. We are pensioners but apparently as we are not over 70 or on benefits we do not qualify for a grant. Unless anyone out there knows different.

You should get a grant of around 50-70%

We are not over 70 or on benefits but are awaiting an installation date for cavity wall insulation, as Ethel's link.

We are in a 2 bed bungalow, charged the same as a 3 bed semi, the lowest charge possible I'm told - 149.
