Is it made on film or videotape made to look like film?

Easiest way to tell the difference, if it's not a hollywood feature film, it's most likely tape.
Film (even brand new releases at the cinema) will have blemishes on it, tiny hairs and scratches, sparkles and so on as well as a slight weave ( this may be too subtle for most people to notice it) . Videotape has none of these and so looks too perfect and too clean.
