Is it made on film or videotape made to look like film?

Going by the stills here...The camera's look like video ones and the film effect is added later I presume .

How can one tell the difference between Film & Video tape?

Easiest way to tell the difference, if it's not a hollywood feature film, it's most likely tape.
Film (even brand new releases at the cinema) will have blemishes on it, tiny hairs and scratches, sparkles and so on as well as a slight weave ( this may be too subtle for most people to notice it) . Videotape has none of these and so looks too perfect and too clean.
