70's kids film

When I was at junior school in the early 80's as a 'treat' we would be allowed to watch a film on the last day of school. One film I remember I think was called 'The Boy who turned Yellow' and all I remember is that this unfortunate lad ended up in the Tower of London and was going to be beheaded! Can anyone else remember it? I'm not making it up, honest guv.
