Peugeot 307 doors

occasionaly my peugeot 307 doors do not open, any ideas ?

307's are notorious for dodgy electrics. I know of one car that used to clock up mileage when the car was stationary...the electronic odometer just carried on banging on the miles.

Sounds like a central locking problem. Sounds expensive.

thanks seafarer & chas for some constructive answers.
once i have pressed the remote keyfob the central locking sounds like it is working correctly but occasionaly when i pull on the handle to open the door it is jammed. I am not suspecting the central locking as it sounds like it is operating correctly. I think it is more of a mechanical fault with the door handle mechanism.

is it all the doors or just the drivers ? does it open on the key ok ?

Hi, a tin of WD 40 spray it in the direction of the lock button from inside the car if one button linkage is not reaching the top of its travel then that is one of the problems.
