Will Executors are distributing chattels without beneficeries say so

I'm one of four children who were named as executors of our fathers will and also beneficeries.
Within days of his death whilst I was on holiday they descended on his home almost 'looting' it of anything they thought valuable with the tag of sentimental value or memories.
Then they proceeded to contact their children and other family members to come and take what they wanted.
When I arrived back many things had labels on of who had claimed them - not beneficeries. I know some items have been sold by their children for pocket money.
One item was sold to a friend of a relative for about a tenth of its value and the money he said he would give to charity! Other things went straight to the charity shop. All this within days of dads passing.
I resigned as an executer as I could see this was not being conducted correctly or even lawfully. This was well before they had seen a solicitor to whom they gave a price of a few thousand pounds for 'chattels'. I have not seen the form.
Probate has since been granted - but nothing was valued properly - not even the house.
They have raised nil pounds from chattels at the moment as 'they can't be bothered'! or don't know what somethings worth.
The original things they took away to get 'valued' and they didn't want to leave in an empty house were valued at 'nothing'!!!
I had said when dad died that I did not want to take anything except a photo album - but that is missing too. This did not mean that I was not expecting to have a share of the sale of household items.
There is a car also which one of them is saying she wants!! There is also a house to sell.
I have asked for a family meeting so I know what is happening which has not happened yet and to which they said they don't care about having but if I want to....... They have also said they don't want anything but a lot has gone already.
Am I wrong - or what

tbh unless he had valuable antiques or jewellery, the minutiae of a lived life are probably worth zero anyway, in fact you usally have to pay someone to come and take everything away.. if you truley didnt want anything and they did then there is no loss to you

It cost me more to have the houshold items removed than they sold for at auction. Sad but true.
