does anyone know how to call canadian cell phones from outside of canada??
e.g. if the area code for BC is 250, manitoba is 204 etc i guess you would have to use the prefix but does there also need to be something else before it like an international code??
I know when you call a uk number for instance you always add +44 at the beginning and then drop the 0 from the area code so is there a similar rule for canada & the US??

It is +1, just like for the USA. Their numbers do not begin with 0 so nothing to drop.
