All cans now have a sell by date .. but most canned goods will last a fair while longer than that. It really depends on the contents .. so there is no one answer to your question.
The only reson canned food has a sell by date, is so you can't sue the canner for having had food poisoning 20 years after it was produced. They are just covering their behinds. Food will only go off if there is air in the can, so assuming it stays airtight, it should stay fresh for ages. I used to eat tins that were at least 2 years out of date.
