What do you think of the social services that let this poor little fella down, should anyone be sacked, and what do you think should happen to those 3 people responsible?

I think too many people are getting involved at too late a stage.

all should be sacked. i posted a few months back that i have got to go to court next month after a neighbours daughter was beated up from birth to six months she is now 2 is hate to use the word but a vegetable i phoned ss over 50 times to report her and the police but nothing was done in the end they acted but it was too late.

social sevices are useless i was taken in to care at 9 months old and adopted out at the age of 4 my biological father and grandparents thought for custody but weren't granted it as social services failed to inform my father til 3 weeks b4 i was due to go to my adopted parents that i had even been born (1 night stand wasn't even aware my mum was pregnant).

don't get me wrong ss people aren't all bad but they either do to much or to little.

funding is short and they have to much work in the office and not out there with the families

i heard today that police tryed to take the baby a little over a week before its death but lawyers intervened. The social work dept is overstretchd but that doesn't excuse acountability. The people who killed baby Pare beyond evil, jail wont come close as a fare punishment.

Something needs to be done the system they have in place is obviously not working.

I agree that they should be sacked and have signed the suns petition, whether it will do any good or not.

Because there is another child involved, if they name the parents they also name the child and that is not in its best interests.

there are grops on Facebook that have illegally posted names, pictures and addresses of all those involved.
According to the news, as fast as places like FB get them removed, they get posted up elsewhere or someone starts a new "justice for baby P" type group.

They should be sacked. The BBC can sack several people over a radio prank but several social workers just get a ticking off when a baby is murdered despite several months of observation. Something is seriously wrong here.

They should all be hanging their heads in shame. They did not directly kill him like the 3 scum that did but they had a duty to protect this boy and they failed. In my opinion they are guilty of manslaughter. The 3 that did it - murder.

Eye for an eye. Do exactly the same to them as they did to this poor baby. I would happily watch them die a slow painful death and spit it the b**tards faces. I would also love to see them in a place with no protection and let the public loose on them.

Sky News is reporting that the killers names and photos have been released and they have receieved death threats so some are suggesting the sites are removed to protect their identity. Seriously....who are these people? Why on earth would they want to protect them? Name and shame them and give them what they deserve..........death.

capital punishment should come back

in all murder cases with no elemen of doubt and rapist should be castrated.

planet ....they go by the book ..most of them are
grads with no idea of street life ...and what people
are like and how they live ..the Police are there and

I agree with oldgrape. Capital punishment should be brought back for folk such as these, where there is no doubt about their guilt.

That way, the b*stards won't get the chance to put another baby through this.

Always makes me wonder why there is such an outcry after the fact. Often neighbours, family and friends of families where abuse is taking place, have an inkling as to what is happening. Why does no one step in then, but everyone always has something to say after?
