blood pressure
Hi there, I wonder if any of you may know the answer to this in order to save me a trip to the doc's.
If I spend a long time, ie half an hour, in the bath my blood pressure seems to drop and I become vey weak and faint, this also happens when I get out of the bath. Does anyone know what is causing this and what I may do to prevent this from happening in the future.
Cheers

Even so, you should get checked out by your GP if you are worried. Low BP is as serious as high BP.
I get it as well when the water is too hot. Sometimes it makes me feel very sick as well. This is extremely common and I don't have low blood pressure. Just try a lower temperature in the bath and don't worry about it.
Although low blood pressure can be as a result of an illness, in general doctors do not worry about it. My father had low blood pressure all his life and was told it was a good thing rather than bad. A lot of athletes have quite low blood pressure.
