You do not need a passport to travel between NI and the UK. Easyjet just needed to ID him, and as he is on TV and Irish then of course they know it is him on the ticket in his hand, don't they?
sensationalism because thats the kind of paper they are. They are making the point about no passport, no where do they mention no ID. I thought the ID think was an airline ruling to cover them selves, not law. They want to make sure you are who you say who are and having your name shouted from the TV every weekend just about quantifies as ID lol
