apparently hes her best friend?

Is it just me that grimaces when folk say this ?
Especially when its bleached haired mothers who go clubbbing with their daughter because theyre more like best mates than mother and daughter !!!


Maybe its cos im a guy but i just think thats just sooooo wrong.

I'm not watching it either but what's wrong with your partner being also seen as your best friend?

Just after my nan died, I was outside with my aunt, mum's sister. She said that she should have heard my mum talk about me (they'd been sat by nan's bedside talking away to her) and that my mum had said I am her best friend.

It was one of the loveliest things I've had said to me.

Oh and, for the record, we don't go clubbing, more Dancing on Ice/ Strictly live, ballet etc...oh and Elton John in December :)

if your mum was supposed to be your friend then shed be able to wear miniskirts to the club with you without looking like mutton.
