selling goods on ebay

If i were to list goods for sale on ebay say for seven
days and at the end of that period i did not want to sell because the bids were to low do i still have to sell them.
Advice help please.Ta

if you have a set price in your head then you should set a reserve.

You enter a legally binding contract and could technically be sued for not sending the goods.

In reality this rarely happens. All you'll get is reported to eBay and a lot of bad feedback.

Errr, yes that's the idea. Not selling them would be dishonest and you would seen be removed.

As redcrx says, you can set a reserve. If that is met and you still fail to supply the goods people will just not trust you in the future. You are in breach of contract but as Ethel says the consequences won't be horrendous.

From last time I looked, a reserve price has to be a minimum of �50. The items may not be worth as much as that, but Garola obviously doesn't want to just give them away. But Ethel's right - so that's the problem.

Always set the start price at the lowest price you are prepared to sell for, unless you like a gamble.
