Where to buy certain supplements

I saw an osteopath this morning and am trying to get into an improve regime to try and prevent or at least slow down further problems with my arthritis and back.
He suggested getting some EPA (essential fatty acids) as despite drinking huge amounts I always feel dehydrated and have low blood sugar, so they are meant to help your body use the fluids better.
I've also been recommended a multivitamin (SUPAG) with less calcium and probiotics.
He recommended using the Nutrigold site but then someone else I spoke to said just to get Forceval capsules instead.
Does anyone have any idea which is best for what and, if Forceval is better, whether it can be got over the counter as well as on prescription?

I take Adcal-D3, which is calcium tablets on prescription. I also take cod liver oil but cook using "Good oil" (from Supermarkets) as well as Glucosamine and rose hip for the inflammation. My joints and back have been SO much better since doing this. Probably more importantly I have been doing a detox for ages- so don't eat wheat, dairy, caffeine, alcohol or even potatoes. This is basically the "Blood group diet", the theory being that you should eat only those foods that agree with you, and by eating "wrong" food, you can cause inflammation and general unrest in your system. I can vouch that doing this has really helped my symptoms, which seem to be pretty similar to yours! x

I was chatting to someone earlier who has UC and she has found this really good aloe vera stuff which she said has helped her a lot.
She sent me the link and also gave me some good tips on good private doctors to see if necessary.

Brill, thanks! Well, interestingly, my UC has virtually gone. I mean, it will never go completely, but in 10 years I haven't had such "good" symptoms as I have had this year, and it is basically down to the Blood group diet and halving my food intake. I do think that some food acts as poison if you are intolerant, and your body just cannot cope with certain things. If you eat fish, chicken, rice, fruit and veg you won't go far wrong. And substitute wheat for oats- so, have oat cereal or porridge, and oat cakes or rice cakes rather than bread. Do you know what your blood type is?
