Thanks, I've had a look at the link you sent - some good comments, I agree with one person who basically says its only a scam to those who place too many silly bids - if you are patient (very very very patient) you can get a bargain.

It is a scam, and it works because some people believe they can get something for very little, even when the evidence is there to show that is a very rare occurrence.
If you should ever be the winning bidder you will get your item.
Don't forget that a bid in the last few seconds extends the auction, so it is impossible to gauge it to be last bidder as you can in eBay.
