Hot burn marks on Polished Surface

Hi everyone was just wondering if anyone could help me please i have been given a beautiful polished surface table and it has these horrid burn marks on the top, the ones that look a creamy colour ,its a shame as it a grand table i was hoping someone may be able to help me out by telling me how to get rid of these burn marks if possible please many many thanks in advance Jennie xxxxxxx

Try gently rubbing the cut side of half a brazil nut on it. The oils from the nut can darken the white ring . It works on my coffee table but might not work on a highly polished surface.
sounds awful.you scavenger. throw the bloody thing out and go to work to buy something decent.. actually, you could set fire to it so the burn marks wont be noticed at all in the residual ash.
I used a ring remover similar to this one a few years ago on my dining table which was highly polished and it worked ...

This happened to us once on a pine table, we just rubbed wax on it and it seemed to polish it out!
This works for water marks, so it might be worth a try- mix a paste of olive oil and cigarette ash and work it in. Leave for 5 miniutes then polish off x
