Does this PC game have an ending or does it go round in circles?

I've never played this game in my life and don't intend to having just reading some stories from people addicted to it.

Its an MMORPG. There is no end to this type of game.
Its an ever playing world with thousands of real players.

It's SATANS game. So many people are glued to the chairs because of this. If I remember some sad individual actually died because she just couldn't stop playing it... she didn't eat or drink she just kept playing till her body just gave up... no kidding something ridiculous like that but I could be wrong.
