Please help

Can anyone give me ideas what to buy my dad for his christmas. I'm really stuck this year, son't want to buy him the usual socks, jumpers, undies etc. He doesn't drink or smoke.
He likes doing crosswords and quizzes. I bought him an electronic crossword solver last year.
Please, please help, I'm at my wits end!!!!!

Tiggs, I've never been much into those hand held gaming thingys, but I quite fancy an NDS with Brain Training now. So if someone could just tip the wink to Mr A, lol!

I usually do what jugglering does and make up a hamper of little luxuries for my mum. She is quite elderly and there's nothing she wants so I also give her vouchers. Sounds very boring but that way she can buy what she wants, when she wants. I usually take her out for the day while she spends some of them and we have lunch so she gets to enjoy them that way
