Ebay and postcodes

Every time I use Ebay and type in my details, I get the same message-Invalid postcode!, my postcode was given by, and used by the GPO. am sick of sending numerous E:Mails to Ebay and getting, over & over the same instructions how to change postcode-which simply DON'T WORK.
Would be grateful for any help on the matter!
